Color-coated aluminum coil coatings are divided into polyester-coated aluminum coil (PE) and fluorocarbon-coated aluminum coil (PVDF). Polyester coatings, applied multiple times to the aluminum sheet surface, form a firmly adhered, continuous, solid film with protective and decorative properties. This UV-resistant coating is made from a polyester resin containing ester bonds in the main chain, with the addition of an alkyd resin and a UV absorber. It can be categorized into matte and glossy grades based on gloss. This coating imparts rich colors to aluminum products, while maintaining excellent gloss and smoothness, providing a superior texture and feel, and adding a sense of depth and depth. It protects items from exposure to the elements, including UV radiation, wind, rain, frost, snow, and ice. It also protects against temperature fluctuations, freeze-thaw cycles, corrosive gases, and microorganisms. It is particularly suitable for interior decoration and advertising boards.

Fluorocarbon-Coated Aluminum Coil (PVDF)
Fluorocarbon coatings are based on PVDF resins, primarily vinylidene fluoride homopolymers or copolymers of vinylidene fluoride with other small amounts of fluorinated vinyl monomers. The chemical structure of the fluoroacid base material is based on fluorine/carbon bonds. This stability and strength of the chemical structure distinguishes fluorocarbon coatings from conventional coatings in terms of physical properties. In addition to excellent mechanical properties such as wear and impact resistance, fluorocarbon coatings exhibit long-lasting fade and UV resistance, particularly in harsh climates and environments. After high-temperature baking, the coating's molecular structure becomes dense, resulting in exceptional weather resistance. Fluorocarbon coatings can be categorized as traditional fluorocarbon and nano-fluorocarbon based on their surface film structure. In 1965, Pennwalt Chemical Company in the United States first introduced fluorocarbon coatings for the coating of interior and exterior aluminum in high-end buildings. Their wide range of colors, stately American appearance, and durability have enhanced the brilliance of many magnificent curtain wall structures worldwide. Coating manufacturers have gradually increased their lifetime guarantees from 10 or 15 years to over 20 years. A US research institute conducted comparative tests on fluorocarbon coatings, super coatings, and conventional coatings. Samples were exposed to the harsh environment of Florida's scorching sun and humid, salty air for 12 years. Fluorocarbon coatings demonstrated stability and durability that were 30 and 80 percentage points higher than the other two coatings, respectively. Fluorocarbon coatings are proven to withstand a variety of harsh environments.

They are particularly suitable for indoor and outdoor decoration in public spaces, retail chains, and exhibitions and advertising.
